Nino and his family, who have always been in love with the place where they were born, decided in 2009 to revive an old store in the historic center of Gangi. At Boscarino’s “Putia,” established in 1936, with its distinctive wooden furnishings, which had always been a gathering place for Gangitans, now closed for several years, was only waiting to reopen its door to patrons.
And not only the inhabitants of this Jewel of Italy but also to the visitors who enchanted by Italy’s Most Beautiful Village wander through the narrow streets of this town in the heart of Sicily. And so, after appropriate renovations, the “putia” on the ground floor and the “house” on the upper floors are ready to welcome guests who would like to breathe in the familiar and sincere atmosphere of the past.
